Following your LASIK procedure, recovery time will differ for each patient. Most patients report improved eye sight immediately while others may see normal vision improvement within 24 hours. It’s important to remember that taking care of your eye following a procedure is vital. You want to avoid rubbing your eyes, rather depend on the use of the drops provided by our staff.

While we will provide post op instructions to you, keep in mind that most people these days spend many hours in from of a computer screen, looking on mobile devices and/or televisions. Immediately after surgery you should limit the time you spend starring at these devices. Essentially you want to avoid anything that may irritate your eye in the days following your surgery.

While the recovery can be an inconvenience for some, the benefits certainly outweigh the disadvantages. LASIK surgery continues to be one of the safest vision correction procedures while providing results that will have a positive impact on your daily life.
